And baby makes FOUR !

We now have a new baby son – Liam Alexander O’Connor – born this morning (Oct 27th) at about 11.00 am.   A little over 12 hours ago !

Donna had some thoughts that he was to arrive on Monday (22nd) – maybe due to her birthday being on the 22nd (of May) – and the number stuck in her head.

Anyway – Liam waited until the 25th – which happens to be our WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.

And Cameron was born on Feb 14 – Valentines’ Day – they do say children can kill romance !

Or – it could be a romantic “family” affair @ McDonald’s in years to come…     🙂

Some details – for the statisticians :

  • Born 10:58 am
  • Weight – 8 lb’s 12 oz’s – nearly a full pound heavier than Cameron.
  • Or – 3956 gms – nearly 4 kg.
  • Length : 51 cms
  • Other names we discussed were Jacob, and Luke.
  • And Phoebe or Zoe if ’twas a girl !

We just liked the name Liam – and I get my Star Wars fix as a mark of respect for Liam Neeson – who played the Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn in The Phantom Menace :

Qui Gon Jinn was perhaps the greatest Jedi alive, a commanding presence at Council, a strong and brave warrior who refused to be intimidated by even the most daunting challenge, and a good and kind man.

Terry Brooks, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (novelization)

Thanks for all the SMS responses & wishes – and tweet’s / emails / phone calls.

I thought I’d blog a few photos – and then out-nerd myself with a visit to YouTube !

OK – so I’m sure Donna might say “whaaaat ??!”

Hopefully Liam & Cameron think it’s cool – my growing Army Of Nerds…    🙂

Go check it out – Cameron & Liam on YouTube !!
